- As a senior member of CNA’s vertically integrated practice groups in the Life Sciences and Food & Beverages sectors, John has managed specialist teams of search consultants with CNA since 1996. Always looking to add real value, he is driven by being passionate about supplying high quality services, enabling our clients to remain competitive and win the ‘War for Talent’. With a truly international remit, assignments have been conducted throughout Europe as well as the Middle East, India, Australia and the USA, on behalf of major multinationals as well as supporting the needs of start-up companies and SMEs in the UK. Although John and his teams work mainly to fill senior management, commercial and technical roes they work closely with other CNA consultants to provide a unique dimension and a novel insight in the search for talent.
Prior to joining CNA, John gained his doctorate in Microbiology at Edinburgh followed by a senior management career providing expertise into the biotechnology sector, the global agricultural supply industry and the fresh produce market. In 1993 he was a recipient of the inaugural Queens Award for Environmental Achievement. John maintains a strong interest in all aspects of bioscience developments, sustainability issues and food quality in addition to an involvement in his family’s agricultural enterprises.
